Displaying Random Posts From Category on a Page?

    I am creating a directory for a website and would like to make it similar to the directory that wordpress.org has for its commercial themes:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/commercial/

    I’d like it to display the listings randomly so everyone has a fair chance at being at the top of the page.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on a plugin that can do this or where to find the code to take a peek at for making posts from a category loop randomly instead of by date?
