Hi!
Could you switch temporarily to Twenty Fifteen and check if it works as expected?

Hi! Yes, I switched but the page still displays both kinds of posts, both in English and Russian. I think the page iteslf is set to “English” though.

If the conflict does not come from your theme, let’s try with plugins. Could you de-activate all your plugins except Polylang and check if it works as expected. Then activate your other plugins one by one and check which one conflicts.

When I disable all but Polylang, it still doesn’t work as expected.

So, if I well understood, you made a test with WP4.1.1 + Twenty fifteen + Polylang 1.7.3 with no other plugins activated and you still get post in all languages? Strange…
Could you precise your Polylang settings?

Here, I uploaded a screenshot with the settings. Yeah, I checked again, by disabling all and switching to Twenty Fifteen but still no change. http://i60.tinypic.com/2eb5m43.jpg

OK. I finally reproduced the bug. It happens when your page for posts is in a non-default language and is not translated.
You can quickly fix it by translating your page for posts in English.
On my side, I will look how to fix this bug.

Alternatively, you can use the development version (1.7.3.5) which fixes this bug.

Thank you! Making a translation worked just fine 😉
