 * The typo was to illustrate the fact that the alternate text shows when I make
   the typo. Sorry I wasn”t clear about that.

 * just click the add new image button
 * you can pick to get the one you already have in your media library, or to upload
   a new one from computer
 * between the title and the text box on the add new post/page screen it says upload/
   insert, the first icon should be picture
 * you don’t need to add any code to have a pic in your posts or pages
 * then once you have your image selected you just pick insert into post. You can
   pick a size, do minor edits to picture, etc
