Displaying details of events in the grid

  • I like how you’ve designed this plug-in to be visually customizable. Sweet! It looks much better than Google’s default calendar.

For this plug-in to be suitable for my client’s purposes it would need to display the events — at least the subject or heading of an event, if not the full details — on the page grid prior to rollover. Is this doable using your plug-in? It’s not evident in the demo.

    Thank you for your time,

    Kristy

    Hello Kristy,

No, the plugin doesn’t currently provide this functionality, I’m afraid.

Jamie Goodwin posted a jQuery based workaround here (that I later made into a little functionality plugin), which might suit your needs.

I do plan on implementing this “properly”, but it’s not likely to be any time soon.

Ross, thank you for taking time to answering my question.

Seems to me that you could turn your plugin into a commercial product, which might would provide you incentive to invest more time in it. As a designer I would be willing to pay for it, because you’ve made it visually attractive.
