    Hi,

    I’m trying to integrate EM with Buddypress and so far it’s gone very well. I have one issue that I may be overlooking but I’m kindof lost and it’s important to the project.

    When using Buddypress the user is able to create an event through the front end — I was trying to figure out how to display the custom attributes there. It’s really just two lists that a user would select from.

    It does work flawlessly in the back end — for example

    #_ATT{options}{one|two|three}

    does exactly as desired.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    Where are you placing the custom tag?

    I placed the attributes in Events >Settings > General > Attributes

    And also placed it into the events page template under Events > Settings > Formatting,

    That does display the attribute and value on the event page, once created, but end users won’t be able to use the wordpress backend dashboard, only the ‘My Events’ > Add new event through Buddypress.

    Thanks for the quick respons!

    hi,

    should appear automatically just above cagetories select list; did you enable it on setting > general > general options > Enable event attributes =Yes

    e.g.
    http://domain.com/members/USERID/events/my-events/edit/?action=edit

    It started appearing, I think it was a problem with CloudFlare which caches the site, even though I flushed it after making changes, we disabled it and low and behold.

    Thanks for the help!

    Great to hear! It’d be great if you could mark this resolved so that other folks can see it’s sorted 🙂
