  • I have a couple of questions about displaying categories…

    (1) I want to have 2 main categories, A and B, with subcategories, A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, etc. within each main category.

If a reader is viewing a post in category A-1, I want the sidebar to list *only* A, A-1, A-2, etc. Is this possible? If so, how would I code that?

    (2) Instead of just displaying categories, is it possible to display the post titles in addition to the category name?

    For example
    “Post 1 in A-1”
    “Post 2 in A-1”
    “Post 1 in A-2”

etc. If this is possible, how would I code this?

Thank you very much for all the help!! I really appreciate it!!!

  • 1. Probably by using some Conditional_Tags.

    2. A few months ago I helped to move a blog that had over 7,000 posts… and around 5,000 of them in one single category 🙂
