Support » Fixing WordPress » Displaying categories as pages and header/footer menus

  • I want to see if there’s away to modify the codes or whatnot so that WordPress can display my categories as pages/header/footer menus.

An example of this would be:

    Header Menu: DVDs

When you click on DVDs, you’d be led to the page where you’ll find all posts filed under the category of the same name.

I would also like there to be drop-down menus for sub-categories.

An example of this would be: Main Header Menu: DVDs
    > Limited Edition DVDs

When you click on limited edition DVDs, you’d be led to the page where you’ll find all the posts under the category of the same name.

I am very new to WordPress and kind of on a tight schedule because of the business I am trying to start. If anyone knows how this can be done, I’d love it if I could give you my WordPress credentials so you can do what you need to do to make this feature a reality.

    Thank you in advance!

  • If you are using a WP Menu as created under Admin->Appearance->Menus, you can add Categories as menu items.
