Hi…I noticed within the TablePress Editor that the cells display the html code whenever I link the Text…

My issue is…since I have about 500 rows, it is becoming difficult to identify immediately which items are within the cell because its filled with all the html code to link the text…

Is it possible to display just the linked Achor-Text within the Cell without it displaying all the html code, so its easier to view and work with?

    Hopefully, this makes sense.

    Thanks!

Also, if by chance the same can be done for IMAGES inside a cell when working within the Editor – it would help a lot visually to see the image as a thumbnail…rather than only seeing the cells filled with html code..

Hopefully, its possible to do this.

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, and I would also like to have such a real “Visual Editor”. Unfortunately, the library that WordPress uses for this for regular posts/pages is quite resource-intensive, so that that is not yet possible at the moment 🙁 I will however try to explorer other options.

Meanwhile, you could maybe enlargen the text fields on the “Edit” screen to see more of that HTML code, so that you can pick up the contents more easily. For that, please take a look at the TablePress Extension from http://tablepress.org/extensions/input-field-size/

    Regards,
    Tobias
