Assalamualaikum brother
Can you please elaborate the incorrect bit.
How it is incorrect.
Mustafiz
walaikum assalaam brother.
jazakAllah for the response.
So the time displayed for my location is displayed as 2:50 AM when it is 22:58 in my location.
I am based in Johannesburg.
Also, all the prayer times are also not correct, even though I have followed the guidelines and tried to fix it from the setting, still, nothing changed.
I tried to attach a screenshot but it seems this forum doesn’t allow it.
Please advise
JazakAllah brother.
Fiamanillah
Assalamualaium brother,
the plugin displays whatever is in the timetable.
so I believe the best option is to download the current time csv and re-upload it with the correct details.
Mustafiz.
@mmrs151 Wa’alaikum assalaam brother.
Ramadaan Mubarak
So basically, all this while I was trying to use it on “Set Prayer Times Automatically” settings and it didn’t work.
JazakAllah for the prompt response.
Now when I tried to do it manually,
1)-By going to instructions
2)- Select “Download current timetable (do not change the column heading)” which gets me the format of CSV.
3)-then download the timetable from “Get prayer to start time for your city ”
4)- Then editing or adjusting the times and other required information in the stipulated format as per (number 2) and following the instruction as (per number 1)
I am using excel to edit/ update the information and convert it back to CSV for uploading.
However, when I upload I am getting an error “Do not remove any column header
<< Go back and Retry” even though I have not changed the header.
Please advise.
JazakAllah Khair
May Allah SWT bless you and the entire team abundantly.
Ameen
Assalamualaikum akhi,
can you please share the csv you are uploading, so I can investigate.
You can email me or add link in this post.
I can see there are couple of issues already.
– is_ramadan column will consist or 0 or 1, 1 for the ramadan dates
– hijri_date will consist of string for Arabic dates
– the date format is wrong, you are using / as a delimiter, which means the first part will be mm or month. If you want to keep your format, change the / to – or .
save the file using a simple csv processor like open office or libre office, no excel.
It should work insha Allah
Mustafaiz
Jazakallah brother it worked. May Allah bless you ad your whole team abundantly. Ameen
