$display_date ignored on the search page

    I have noticed that if you enabled the Display Date on the Theme, it does not have any effect on the search results page.

    Make sure you edit the date option under the Layout panel in the Customizer. That is what controls it site wide. The option under the Front Page panel only controls the front page.

    Activate “Display Date on inner pages” and it works!
