Display Woocommerce Category Images

Hello all,

I have two simple requests that I have had absolutely zero luck finding answers to via Google searches, the docs on the WooThemes site, or on the Support forums here. I appreciate any help you can provide:

1) What do I need to do in order to display the product category images?
2) How can I display the product short-description? For example: I’m calling the featured products on a particular page, and I would like to include a the short-description with each item that appears.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Building this locally, so unfortunately cannot post links.
