Display Widgets or Widget Context

    Hi

    I’ve too needs.

    1) display a specific widget on posts from one category only.

    2) Display a specific widget on certain pages only.

    Which plugin would be better Display Widgets or Widget Context?

    Also, does anyone know what sort of CPU DB calls Display Widgets uses? High or Low?

    Display Widgets will do both and will list each page and category for selection. Widget Context cannot do the 1st but can do the 2nd using URL fragments.

    To improve performance, Display Widgets smartly uses transients, a form of caching.
