Support » Plugin: Quiz And Survey Master - Best Quiz, Exam and Survey Plugin for WordPress » Display variable result per question?

  • Resolved pacificshack

I have searched everywhere for this and cannot find a solution.
I have a questionnaire which uses an answer format of 1-10.
If the user selects answer 3 (as a radio button) they get a score of 3 for that answer.
    There are 10 questions.
At the end of the questionnaire, I want to publish the results per question. Example:
    Question 1, score 3.
If you answered between 1-3: This is your answer
If you answered between 4-7: This is your answer
If you answered between 8-10: This is your answer
And this is displayed against each question.

From all I can see, this plugin calculates a final score which is not what I am looking for.

Is there anyway of doing this? What are the categories used for?

    Please help, am stuck!

  • Greetings pacificshack,

Thank you for choosing to use this plugin! This plugin does not currently have the capability to show results based on answers chosen. The categories allow you to show score of certain categories. For example, if you had a quiz with both Math and Science, you can show overall score and then score for each of the categories. However, you can not show results based on the category score at this time.

I will add the ability to show different results based on answers chosen to the list of requested features for you.

Hi Frank, thanks for your response. I actually ended up creating my own ‘app’ in the end which sits on a WordPress page. The page has:

    – 12 questions
    – Each question is answered by choosing one of 10 radio buttons (choosing 1-10)
    – The user enters name and email to get results.
    – Form is sent to a php form using ajax. Details are sent to a database for reference. Details are then sent out on a HTML email using phpMailer to the user. Each question has a copy of their score with the answer.
    – Questions and answers set up in an external database.
    – If the user answered ‘3’ they are given an answer which has a range of ‘1-3’.
    – Email has call to action to encourage user to get in touch.

Could add more to it, but better to keep simple. Cheers.
