    Hi, is it possible to display the descriptions we have entered for categories and tags through the front end archive templates?

    Hello!

    The SEO Framework isn’t really meant for front-end HTML display. But, there are methods to retrieve the information processed and entered.

    For example, you can use this snippet to output the custom description:

    $description = '';

    if ( function_exists( 'the_seo_framework' ) ) {
    	$description = the_seo_framework()->get_description_from_custom_field();
    }
    // Display it.
    echo esc_html( $description );

    If your theme allows it, you can also use a filter and fill it with The SEO Framework’s data. However, that’s a little more advanced.

    Coincidentally, I recently answered a mostly related inquiry here, with added details: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/echo-php-meta-description-from-the-seo-framework/#post-12325083

    I hope this helps 🙂 Cheers!

    Thanks!
