Display shortcode as code

Hi great plugin thanks, I want to show wp shortcode as code but it is parsing it. So I am having to remove on of the square brackets so that it doesnt parse ie. short-code]

If I enter [short-code] then it parses it and doesnt display it.

I am doing a tutorial and need to display the shortcode and not the parsed content.

Any help much appreciated.
