Display Search Results on a Page other than Main Directory

    Hi there,
    is there a way to display the business search results on a page other than the Main Directory Page.

    The reason being that I have used the [businessdirectory] shortcode but also added some text and videos on the main display page.

    Unfortunately when I do a search it is bringing up all the text and videos as well as the search and I just want the search results.

    The search results seem to be defaulting to the Main Directory Page.

    Hi KatieKat,

    Right now, all output is directed through that main directory page. We use the short code to generate pretty much everything that you see coming out of the plugin. The plus is that you don’t have to do/configure much to get going, the downside is that everything filters through the main directory page and whatever you put there can show up in several places.

    Hi there,
    thanks for the clarification. Not sure if this is possible but I was just wondering if there is any way of adding a filter or function so that when the main page comes back from an ?action = search that it performs a display:none for the text and videos.

    Something like that would have to be hacked into the plugin since we’re not able to understand what other content could possibly exist on the page with the shortcode (that is out of our control).
