Hello,
I just tested Ajax Search Lite on my demo site to see if there’s anything wrong with it so we could inform the developer but as far as I can tell it works as intended.
Be aware that the Pro version includes layout with pagination.
I think that option isn’t included in the Lite ( free version ).
What you can do is enable the ‘More Results’ button to redirect the user to the search page that will list all the results with the Lite version.
I hope I understood your problem correctly and helped out.
Best regards,
Konstantinos

Thanks for help,
but my problem is a bit different.
When I go to all results, I want to display 10 posts per page, and be able to view the next 10, and so on.
It would be very useful if you can help me.
Thanks,
Davor
Oh sorry, now I understood that we are actually talking about the ‘Search results page’.
Are you using a custom theme for WordPress?
Usually the themes will read the ‘Settings -> Reading -> Blog pages show at most ‘x’ posts’ ( you correctly went and changed that ) setting and automatically include a pagination underneath if not overwritten by a theme ( or plugin ) setting.
Maybe there’s an error of some sort in the theme you are currently using or a conflict somewhere and the pagination links are not generated correctly.
If you are able try with the TwentySeventeen theme to see if you see the pagination links. Else check your plugins for any conflicts.

Well, probably that’s the problem because I’m using a theme that I created, so probably I forgot something or I have to add some code.
Thanks
You can refer to the Codex – Pagination to find what you need for creating correct pagination links.
If you need more help feel free to ask.

P.S.
Don’t forget to change the post status if you don’t have any more questions for now!
