Display recent products by date range?

    My client needs to be able to display new products by month – is there a shortcode secret that would allow this?

    I know I can display the X number of recent products, but we need to be able to display products added from, for example, 1/1/2016-1/31/2016 – or during a particular month. Our users need to be able to click and see what was released in December 2015, or January 2016 for example.

    I have searched and haven’t been able to find anything that would do this? I would think that this would be part of the options for recent products?

    You could use a work around by creating product categories such as “Shoes 2016 January” and then assign all the products in this month/year to this category and then use the shortcode to display based on categories.

    that night be possible workaround, but the shop product category listings/displays would become long and difficult to maneuver eventually. But that is a possible solution that I will explore and see if it would be a compromise.

    I am assuming that there is a way to exclude a product category from displaying in the shop,,,
