I have a product page on my site where a product is rated using your widget/plug-in.

I can accomplish this easily. However I also have a product comparison page that lists all of the products and their current ratings. I need the ratings on this comparison page to be READ-ONLY. I can currently display all of the ratings on a page or post without issue, but users are able to also rate the products on the comparison page because the widget is active everywhere…which is not what I want.

Is there a way to have an ACTIVE widget and a READ-ONLY version of the widget on the same site (different pages/posts)?

    Thanks for your help!

Hi @gunny, how are you currently showing the ratings on the comparison page? Did it work out of the box? Can you please share the url of that page. Thanks

I’m sorry but I don’t understand your question!

I don’t have ratings on the comparison page yet because I haven’t been able to figure out how to show the stars in ‘read only’ mode (displayed, but can’t be changed).

Is there a way to show the current star rating on a page as a reference, but not an active object users can click on and add their rating?

Did you try to modify the ratings to ReadOnly in the settings?

Hi, I’m looking for the same thing as Gunny.
How can we set the ratings to be read-only for certain pages and allow the ratings on other pages ?
For example, in my page with id=23, I’d like the visitor to be able to rate the page. And in my page with id=20, I refer to page 23 and other pages and I’d like to display the rating of page 23 and the other pages without the visitor being able to rate.

PS: I hope my explanation is ok, English is not my mother language =s.
I understand that we can add settings in “Power User Settings” but I don’t really understand how it works… How can we distinguish our rating-widgets ? How can I set 2 different displays for the same data in 2 different pages ?

Thanks in advance for your time and answer !
