Display posts on a different page

  • As far i know, by default the posts that are created are displayed on the homepage. However, i would like to display posts from a certain category on a different page. So basically what i wan’t to know is: how can i get the posts to display on my newspage instead of the homepage. I’ve been trying some plugins, but they don’t seem to work like i want them to.

You would need to exclude these posts from your home page using a custom query and list them elsewhere in a custom page template.

in “Appearance / Menu ” the menu Manager allows you to create a link to a “Categories” . Create this link and give this menu time whatever name you want if desired.

It will specifically make a link to the category of your choosing.

Thanks Amado. That was exactly what i was looking for. Now i only have to find a way to exclude the posts on the homepage. I was thinking i could make a menuitem which links to a new made page called Home and then use .Htaccess to make the newly made Home the actual homepage. Would this be considered as an efficient workaround?
