Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Display payment methods every checkout pages in Woocommerce

  • Resolved walacky

I have multiple checkout pages in Woocommerce (with different design for A/B testing), but payment methods are visible only on the original checkout page (which is selected in Dashboard -> WooCommerce -> Settings -> Checkout -> Checkout Options).

However i want to display the payment methods on all of my checkout pages, not only on the selected one, otherwise it is meaningless…

    How can i do it?

    Thanks in advance! 🙂

    Hi @walacky,

That’s hard for us to answer not knowing how you’re A/B testing. We don’t know the tool, service, or methods being used and have no way to look at the code it’s using or see why the payment methods aren’t being shown in the variations.

WooCommerce does let you only set one page as your checkout page, and inserts a shortcode into that page that loads all the forms. I’m not sure using that shortcode multiple times would work, but that’s the first thing that comes to mind from here.

I’d like to test A / B later, but it’s not the first thing.

The essence is the following: I would like to have two different checkout pages with two different design AND working payment methods on both pages. Is that possible any way?

@walacky – you could create multiple pages using shortcodes to generate the Checkout page, however, they would display exactly the same thing. Thus, you’d need some serious customization to perform this.

Maybe you could try something like this(although I haven’t used it myself)?

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
