[Resolved] Display only taxonomies relevant to the current category

  • Thanks for a great plugin!

Is it possible to only show taxonomies relevant to the current category in question?

For example, I have a custom post type, ‘Merchandise.’ In ‘Merchandise, there are 2 categories, ‘Clothes’ and ‘Jewelry.’

My custom taxonomy, called ‘Designers’ includes a tag called ‘Adidas’.

If ‘Clothes’ has posts tagged with ‘Adidas,’ but ‘Jewelry’ DOES NOT, then I don’t want to have ‘Adidas’ showing up in the select list on the ‘Jewelry’ page.

The plugin utilizes WordPress’s get_terms() function, which includes filters that should make this possible. Additionally, my plugin applies a taxonomy_dropdown_widget_options filter to the options passed to get_terms(), which could be of use to you.
