Support » Fixing WordPress » Display only first post of a custom Taxonomy ID/slug

  • I have a shop system running and I want to create an overview of new Items that are saved into a custom Taxonomy.
    The problem that I’ve got is when a single shop posts 10+ Items my Overview is flooded with it and other Shops are out of the list.

    So I want to create a query that ignores the post if the Taxonomy ID is already in the posts.

    I have rad through many attempts but none of these worked.

    this is my query:
    <?php query_posts( array( 'post_type' => APP_POST_TYPE, 'post_status' => $post_status, 'ignore_sticky_posts' => 1, 'showposts' => 10 ) ); ?>

    and I get the taxonomies/Shops with:
    appthemes_get_custom_taxonomy( $post->ID, APP_TAX_STORE, 'slug' );

    Thank you for helping me out!
