Support » Plugin: BadgeOS » Display one particular badge on a members page next to each profile

    I have created a badge and I can display it successfully on each profile that has earned it. But I want to display it also next to each profile that has earned it in the members directory – a page with a list of all registered users on the website.

    When I add the achievement list shortcode with user_id for each member that is displayed on the page, I get the badgeos spinner displayed in the user’s profile card but nothing else… How can I show that these people have won this achievement in the users directory?

    Thank you!

    Hi @marrvel

    We have double-checked the achievement list shortcode and found it is working as expected. please note, if you have added user_id to the achievement list shortcode then it will highlight the badges earned by the user however, it will display all the available badges too.

    We don’t think the above shortcode will fulfill your requirement. However, there is a shortcode [badgeos_user_earned_achievements] that displays the logged in users achievements only, We will add a new parameter to add user id in this shortcode so that it can display the achievements accordingly. if there is not any user id parameter then the shortcodes will continue to display the logged in users achievement.

    Please let us know if you have any further question.

    Thanks

    Hi there,
    Thank you for the quick reply!
    Basically, I am using the shortcode as follows:
    echo do_shortcode('[badgeos_achievements_list user_id=' . $user_id . ' order="ASC" show_title="false" show_thumb="true" show_description="false"]');

    It works well when displaying on single profile page, but it freezes when I try to use it in a loop of all registered users page.

    Would I be able to use the [badgeos_user_earned_achievements] in a user loop to display the achievements of many users next to their names with the user id parameter?
    Thank you!

    Hi @marrvel

    We will release a new version of the plugin next week which will allow you to add user_id with the [badgeos_user_earned_achievements] shortcode so that you can display earned achievements for every users on a single page.

    Thanks
