Support » Plugin: Store Locator Plus for WordPress » Display map and icons only for a particular state via shortcodes

  • How do I display the map such that it only displays that State with icons for the specific locations in that state

I want to do this for each state that I have locations in. So there would be a different map and set of icons displaying for each state.

How would I use shortcodes to set this up?

I tried using tags but it does not seem to work

    Thanks so much

You are going to need Tagalong and Pro Pack to do that.

Tagalong will give you custom map markers on a per-category basis. I hope to get a shortcode “by category” filter added before final 1.0 release, but it is not there yet.

Pro Pack has the only_with_tags shortcode attribute that allows you to display sub-sets of locations.

I am playing to shoot a screencast and post it on my site about how to do the Pro Pack maps that are restricted to a specific tag, like “sale locations” or “support locations” over the next couple of days.
