Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Display list of filtered categories with attribute?

I am working on an e-commerce where I want to list sub categories in a category page, but I need to be able to use filters and still show list of categories instead of products. Currently when I visit my category page, I see the sub categories, but when I apply a filter, the list of categories disappear and products shows up. Why is this happening? Shouldn’t the list of categories stay and just remove categories (or update numbers) which doesn’t have products with that attribute? It’s so annoying. If I have to create static pages with all categories, I will need to create more than 1600 pages with almost the same content but different links that only include the attribute url parameter. Can someone help me fixing this?

    Hi there,

The default behavior of the filter is to display the products within the category and not the category which contains the products. However, this can be tweaked with some code customizations in order to achieve this. In this case, I’ll recommend you get in touch with a developer who might assist you with these changes.

    Thanks.
