• I am trying to use the shortcode [product_categories ids=””] to display a list of subcategories under the parent “Health Conditions”

The Health Conditions category has id 703 but no matter what number I put in the ids=”” I get a list of all categories on the site.

The only thing that seems to make a difference is parent=”0″ which shows lists only the parent categories, but this is not helpful for my situation.

If you compare the sidebar categories under “Health Conditions” you will see that there are far fewer than those listed in blue.

Any ideas on how to display only suncategories from one main category?

    This is WC 2.2.11

    Thanks

[Resolved] Go to Woo-commerce Product Category Page. Find the category, click on edit. And from the edit page, Set Display type to Subcategories.

This isn’t a complete solution because you cannot use pages, but it worked for my purposes.
