    Hi there,
I am looking to display a Lightbox Gallery on my Homepage in a widget area.
Ideally I would only display 5 thumbnails, side by side, in one single line.
But I would like there to be almost 20 images in the Gallery.

Is it possible to achieve such an effect?
Or is it possible to create a carousel/slider style gallery – rotating between the 20 images, but only ever displaying 5?
Once the lightbox opens, then I would like a customer to be able to scroll through all the images on the Gallery.

    Does that make sense?
    Thank you for your help!
    CHeera

    Hi Cheera,

From quick glance, yes this should be possible.

I’m assuming you mean a widget area that is the width of the page and not a sidebar which may not have enough room to properly display a gallery with 5 columns.

You should be able to enter FooGallery short-codes to display a gallery in your widget area just fine.

FooGallery offers a range of responsive gallery templates that are designed to look great on all device sizes. If you specifically want 5 columns on desktop you’ll need to select a gallery template that either supports columns directly (Grid PRO) or one where the thumbnail size can be set to match your desktop content area width to create 5 columns (Justified gallery). We also have a Slider Pro template.

If you are using Foobox image lightbox as your lightbox plugin then you will be able to scroll through all images in the gallery inside the lightbox.

All of templates can be viewed and tested at https://foo.gallery/demos.

The best way to try them out would be to take advantage of the free 7 day trial of the Pro version to see if any of the Pro features would be a good fit for your needs.

    Thanks in advance,

    Phill
