Hi, this is exactly the kind of gallery I need but I’m having a problem. The first image loaded is overlapped by another, invisible image? Link provided above. Thanks for any help!

Hi, @algfirth.
This overlapping effect comes from your theme: http://prntscr.com/jhjn3s – it’s hover effects for images. If you want to get rid of it, you should remove this effect from your theme or if you don’t know how to do it – to contact theme developers and ask them how to disable “hover effects for images”: https://williameckersley.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/js/avia.js?ver=4.2.6

Hi,

The hover effect was removed from this page, but an issue still persists. Now instead of showing any white box it just crops the first image (but no others) as it isn’t aligned properly?

Please try temporary change your theme to standard wordpress theme and let us know if issue still exists.
Also, can you provide some clarifying screenshot – what exactly is cropped? Your gallery looks like good at this moment.
