image captions are coming in the next release. You can start playing around with that version here : https://github.com/fooplugins/foogallery/archive/develop.zip

Choose the responsive gallery template, then select “Caption” as your hover effect type.

Let me know if that works for you

Hi, any idea when this release is due?

I just installed foogallery to see if it would be a good choice. One of the things I absolutely need is a title (actually the filename) on the image in the lightbox. Preferably one I can set the color, size, font, etc. It would be very preferable to have the title display ON the bottom of the image in the lightbox.

I just followed the link above to the foogallery-develop.zip. Installed it, and although I can select “Caption”, I still don’t see a configurable (or any) title on my detail images. If I fill in the “Caption” field, I can display that, but that field doesn’t have the filename/title automatically populated. Is there something else I need to change to get the already populated title?

I’ve been using the new version of your plugin from github and it’s great. I also have the same problem with titles or descriptions – even when there is a title or description it doesn’t display. This is really needed when a gallery is used for navigation.

Is there a quick css fix we could do to display the title? thanks!

I need this as well. I have heaps of paintings on my site and customer need to know the names of them so they can request that painting for their event or upcoming class. Is there an ETA on this update?

When will the new update happen?
