Support » Plugin: Links shortcode » Display if empty

I haven’t been able to find an answer on this, so I’m not sure if it’s possible. Is there a way to display some text if the list of links to display comes up empty? We’re using this for some links to applications, and when we don’t have any, we’d like for it to say that there are currently no applications, instead of just having a blank area of the page. Thanks!

    hi runitsaaron,
Currently this is not supported, but it’s a great suggestion and I will try to include it in the next update.

We have added this in version 1.8, which was released last week. You can add a new attribute alltext:
[links alttext="text to display if the shortcode does not returnany links"]
