Hi. I’m trying to display the grid view monthly calendar on a page other than the default shows page that is set in the backend. (In addition to that page so it would be on two pages in the site). Basically I want it at /shows and on the homepage. I know there’s no shortcodes available for the free version (would the pro version do this?) but is there a php function I could call within the template to display the grid view monthly calendar elsewhere? There’s got to be right? I currently have it rigged up via jQuery/load but that’s obviously less than ideal. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    thanks

    Hi shagdirty,

You’re right that there isn’t a shortcode, either in The Events Calendar or in Events Calendar PRO. PRO does include a mini calendar widget which might work for you. You could check that out on our premium widgets page.

You might also check out the third party plugin Event Rocket which might allow you to pull events in as you want to.

Good luck, and thanks for using The Events Calendar!

    Best,
    Leah
