Hello right now I’m using the plugin for 2 areas on a home page : one displays the latest post (on the left side of the url I posted) and the other shows the latest 2 events added to the event’s calendar. I would like to be able to show the event’s date rather than the date the event was posted (as it is right now) on top of the image.

Is there any way to get the event’s date automatically?

    thanks for your help

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Yes it is possible, but you will need to customize the output of the shortcode.

In this specific instance, I think you’d be best served using the output filter to define a new parameter like event_date=”true”.

If you can share with me the specific meta key used by your events calendar to store the event date, I can provide the code necessary to display it.

Thanks for your reply! sorry for not being able to reply sooner but I had a medical problem.

How do I do that? I’m pretty new with wordpress too.

thank you again for your support.

I recommend submitting a support request to your event calendar plugin asking what meta key can be used to query its data.

    Thanks
