Display Featured Content sitewide

    I’d like to display the featured content div on all pages and posts. It seems like something addressed with editing the PHP files, but I can’t figure out what to edit.

    I thought that I’d start by figuring out how the featured content area is called into the home page, but so far have had no luck.

    The HTML and CSS elements make sense to me, but the PHP part is still mystifying to me.
