But my issue is smartphone display (specifically iPhone).
It currently displays the calendar (which is useless on a small display), and a list of only today’s events.
I’d like the smartphone to display the list of all events (current and future). The calendar itself is optional.

I’ve checked your site from my mobile device (not iPhone) and I’m seeing month view is showing there.
It sounds to me this might be a theme behavior. Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
