Display different n# of posts if it’s main page or if it’s category page

  • Hello folks,

My main page displays posts with small pictures in it, while the pages of the categories, when we click a category name in the sidebar, displays only summaries of those articles without the pictures. That is much more dial-up friendly.

So, I would like to display more posts in the Categories (when we click one of them in the sidebar), maybe twice more than in the main page loaded with pictures.

Honestly, I don’t know if that is possible.
Does someone have an idea ? 🙂
Thanks if someone can tell me his opinion 🙂

To say it more simply, I would like that my Categories listed items look as the items of the main page when it is loaded : that everything of it is displayed as far as the <!–more–> tag…

Thanks a lot if someone can help me with it 🙂

look at using different templates. so call a different cat lists depending on what page you are on etc

a link to your page would be helpful

    😀
