Thanks for your prompt reply. I went through all the chart configuration options. I looked at all the shortcode attributes as well. Then, I tried to guess the attributes that can help display the data labels. I found four attributes that could be of help: chart_all_values_suffix, chart_annotations, chart_display_annotations, chart_display_exact_values. I used all of them in the gdoc shortcode and set their value to “true”. However, none of them was of any help.

I tried the same for Column chart also. I could not find the solution for that also. The data values for individual columns do not appear in the columns. To see the data values, we have to hover over the columns.

Please refer to the following text on the configuration options page: “While users can hover over the bars to see the data values, you might want to include them on the bars themselves. This is a little more complicated than it should be, because we create a DataView to specify the annotation for each bar.”

true is not a valid value for the annotations option, as the friendly manual describes, so it’s difficult for me to believe that you read—or at least read closely enough to even remotely understand—the manual as you say that you did. And if you did read the manual closely and yet still came away thinking, inexplicably, that what you tried has any chance to work, then you so fundamentally misunderstand the Google Charts options that I refer you to the sticky post in this forum titled “Google Charts question? Try the Google Product Support forum before posting here.”
