Excellent theme so far, it’s wonderfully easy to extend. I had a custom post type up and running with the theme settings, custom sidebars in no-time at all!
I am having trouble getting a two column layout to display properly on the front end. I searched Google, the documentation and the forums with no solution. It looks like this feature was added earlier this month. The columns are nesting (side-by-side) below the page’s content, no matter what settings I use for Both Sidebars: Style and the % fields. (tried blank and 50%/25% and other variations that didn’t work)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new page
2. Add content to page
3. Update setting: OceanWP Setting > Main > Content Layout to: Both Sidebars
4. Choose Both Sidebars: Style Sidebar / Content / Sidebar
5. Do not set any % widths for content or sidebar (aside; as a user this setting is confusing)
6. Choose a Right and Left sidebars (with simple widgets) for the sidebars
7. Publish & observe
The content is full width above the sidebars which are both at 50%
The sidebars would be to the left and right of the content by default with something like a 25%/50%/25% layout
Screen Resolution used: 1280 x 800
Browser: Chrome 61.0.3163.100 (Mac)
If you happen to look at this before the demo environment I spun up expires you can see a working example here
If I end up getting this working I’ll try to remember to post my solution! Again, theme is wonderful to use so far excellent work if I end up using it after evaluating I will probably purchase a plugin to support your work!

Hello, sorry I misunderstood, on the both sidebar page, the sidebars work as they should, what is the issue?
Is your screen size > 1280? Maybe that’s our disconnect.
If I make my browser window > 1280 (like 1281) I get the sidebars next to the content, at 1280 or less, the two sidebars get tucked underneath. Is there any way, without custom CSS rules to override the breakpoint, to get the two columns next to each other when the browser is 1280 wide?
Oh I understand now, my screen size is 1980px, for small screens, the content is on top, then the two sidebars, it is the normal behavior otherwise it will look very ugly.
The only way is with custom css.
Ok, that makes sense now. Until you replied I hadn’t thought about trying a larger screen size. I’m used to 1280 being included in the larger screen sizes/desktop breakpoints (but still not in the mega size). That’s the max default screen size on my Macbook. I’ll figure out the CSS to change that.
Thanks for the fast reply!
