Display borked in IE but good on all other browsers? (5 posts)

    This is my wordpress blog.

    It displays fine on Chrome, FireFox, Safari, and mobile platforms. But on IE, the content expands outside the width of the frame. I cannot figure out why, and how to fix it in the css.

    Any advice/insight appreciated. Thanks!

    start with sorting out markup errors. In fact the validator cannot even check your website as it is!!

    I'd love to start there but the validator doesn't like that I've got the DOCTYPE declaration in my header.php file -- which I think is mandatory for my theme -- so I don't know how to make heads or tails of the validator output.

    You entered:

    While the address is:

    Locate .post and add this:

    .post {
        margin-left: 15px;

    This is located in http://brackishwater.net/wpr/wp-content/themes/veryplaintxt/style.css and you can access this from your dasboard by clicking on appearance > editor > style.css
