Display a thumbnail for featured image, when there are no additional images

Hello!
I’d like to know if there is a way to display a thumbnail for the featured image of the product (on the product’s page) even if there are no additional images attached to the product.

Thank you for reaching out!

If you do not add any image to the product, a default thumbnail will be shown on the single product page.

Can you please let me know if no thumbnail is showing for your website when there is no image added for a product?

I am a beginner and i’m not so familiar with the terms. By saying “thumbnails” i mean the little images under (if horizontal) the main image. When i attach additional images, then these little images appear.

By saying “thumbnails” i mean the little images under (if horizontal) the main image. When i attach additional images, then these little images appear.

When the only image is the featured image, then it does not

From the provides example products, it appears that in this scenario a product image is set, while in this one not.

The placeholder image (as it is called) can now be set at: WooCommerce > Settings > Products as of WooCommerce version 3.5x.

Feel free to set the site logo or another suitable image there, for it to appear on all products without a product image set.
