Display a blogroll category in a post

    I’m pulling what little hair I have left, out.

    All I need to do is paste a short line of code into a post to display a single blogroll category of mine, but I can’t find the short line of code anywhere.

    My post needs to look like this (example)

    My favorite links to my favorite places are listed in the…

    (here is where i need the code to show…)
    [cat id 916 and the 8 links listed under the cat]

    Am I asking too much? or am I just so dumb I can’t see the forest for all the codex?
