Discount prices not updating correctly for some categories

    Hello!

    We are having problem with the plugin where discounts for atleast one category are not updating correctly. If we try to add discount that is lower than 37,5%, products in the ctagory get 37,5% discount. But with higehr discounts the prices are correct. For example 50% discount -> products get 50% discount, but 20% discount -> products in the category get 37,5% discount.

    Category in question has 2 parent categories, but neither of them have this 37,5% discount. Some of the other categories do have it, and it is possible that this category also had it at some point in the past.

    Discounts seem to work correctly for all the other categories that we have tested.

    Hello,

    This could be happening due to some products overlapping between multiple categories. Our plugin applies discount ONLY to the immediate category. It does not apply discount to child categories.

    Some of your higher amount of discounted categories must have common products with category in question.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the quick response!

    There are 25 products in this category and all of them have only the same 3 categories. Categories for the products are like this Laitteet >> Ruoanvalmistus >> Lämpölevyt. Laitteet and Ruoanvalmistus have no discount added to them. Lämpölevyt is the category where discounts are not applied correctly.

    Hello,

    Can you try following :

    1. Disable all discounts from our plugin.
    2. Check any product which currently has issue : in postmeta table, see what data it has with meta key “_wpcd_cats”
    3. When all discounts are removed, you can update all of the above entries to blank or empty.
    4. Then one by one, you can start turning back the discounts on and see if it works perfectly.

    Taking of all the discounts, and then putting them back on again fixed the issue.
