# Discount Option error

 * When a product is added to the cart on the POS, for example 28 dollars, the field
   displays are: cart subtotal: 0 and discount: 28. This isn’t a problem in and 
   of itself as the payment goes through fine but clearly it must be an error? The
   10% discount etc options don’t work also, which is how I discovered this.

 * It sounds like you have created a product with regular price of 0 and a sale 
   price of $28. So in this case the subtotal is 0 and the cart discount is +28.
   Also, since 10% of 0 is 0, applying a discount will result in a sale price of
   0.
 * If you wish to adjust the regular price on-the-fly you can open the product ‘
   drawer’ and adjust the price there. For example, changing the regular price to
   $28 will make the subtotal $28 and cart discount 0.

 * Thank you for the quick reply. The regular price of the product is set at 28.
   It is a “bookable” product as opposed to a “simple” one if that makes any difference?
   So basically there is no sales price field under this setting.
    I can change 
   the price by doing what you suggested using the “drawer”. This basically changes
   the fields from a $0 with a cross though it and 28 next it to simply the 28 total.
   And at that point naturally the discount options work. Still is there something
   a little bit off, it defaulting to a strange sale price config at the start. 
   Its adding an extra step to our sales process which I would rather eliminate?

 * Oh, bookable products are not supported by the WC REST API or WooCommerce POS
   at this time. I have had many requests to support Bookable products and will 
   look at integrating them after version 1.0.
