    Hello,

    I recently converted over to PMP and LOVE it!

    However, I’ve noticed that the reporting doesn’t always include the discount code I’ve created for my users. The code still works, but it just doesn’t show up as being used.

    Is it case sensitive? What could be causing that issue?

    Hello Tony,

    I’m sorry this is not working as expected.
    The code is not case-sensitive.

    Are you looking at the “Membership Stats” report? or the uses column of the “Memberships Discount Codes” page?
    The discount code will show up on the Order List and the export.

    Is the order showing the code but one of the other pages not showing it?
    Do they show up later on reports? or not at all?

    Any more details you can provide will help me to assess what may be going on here.

    Hi & thanks for your reply, Kim.

    The Discount Codes do NOT show up on the Orders tab.
    They also don’t show up on the Settings->Discount Codes tab.
    Nor do they show up in the individual member’s order page.
    Very strange.

    NOTE: Due to the fact that they weren’t showing up, I had deleted the previous discount code and created another one just like it. In my haste, I had forgotten to make the initial payment to be $0 as I had intended.
    Then I just had a customer sign up for a membership. They used the discount code, but didn’t get their discount (obviously).

    That leads me to…

    One quick question: If I refund a customer right after they setup their membership (because I forgot to make the initial payment $0), will their monthly recurring membership still be good and continue the following period (every 30 days in this case)?
    Or will the act of me refunding them (for my error) cancel their membership entirely?

    You may refund the initial payment, you shouldn’t cancel the user’s subscription. Please reach out to your payment gateway support to help you with this to ensure you don’t cancel their future payments.
