 * I have heard so much about WooCommerce and their growing number of plugins, since
I began developing websites several years ago. Tonight, I finally decided to
download WooCommerce and invest in a couple of their plugins. I thought that
the documentation would match the plugins, seamlessly, since WooThemes developed
   both WooCommerce and the plugins.
 * Apparently, they made some changes in their products lately. Links that lead
to a necessary WooCommerce plugin download are broken. There is an announcement
that they have discontinued the plugin and that the plugin that I need is built
into the newer version of the WooCommerce software. However, I have dedicated
2 hours to this issue and have not been able to find a solution.
 * The documentation does not match my experience. I have lost a total of 4 hours
of work trying to find solution to a couple of issues, and I am not able to duplicate
what their documentation says should be happening with my website. So, I finally
submitted a couple of help tickets.
 * Normally developers say that they will get back to you in 24-48 hours. However,
after I submitted my tickets, a message appeared indicating that they were at
a week-long conference, and they would be doing their best to handle requests
in between attending the week-long conference. They advise, in the message, that
they will do their best. Meanwhile, the issues that I have are on hold. I have
no idea how long it will take them to get back to me.
 * I am frustrated and disappointed. I spent $300 with them and am not getting what
I paid for. This is the kind of experience that I expect with FREE plugins. I
was not expecting this experience with a company that is supposed to lead the
   E-Commerce industry for WordPress websites.
 * Again. I am extremely disappointed and quite frustrated.
 * Note: I have seen companies come back and try to “save face” when faced with
negative responses on this website. But this company should know that I have
committed the past 4 hours to trying to get aspects of their WooCommerce product
to work with THEIR plugins. I spent money on their products because I believed
in them. And I am not getting what I paid for.
 * I would appreciate them using their time to address my issues, rather than trying
to save face by attacking my post.
 * Thank you

 * Not sure what you’re talking about here. Woo don’t *sell* deprecated/discontinued
plugins. Once they are discontinued they are removed from sale. And if its in
core (whatever that is) it would be available for free?
