Disappointed with 4.0 for Admin Performance

I really love WooCommerce and have developed several sites with it. However, the 4.0 update I feel has really made the Admin super slow. On a live vs. staging site with all factors being equal, the staging site which is on WC 4.0 loads admin pages 75% slower than the live site using WC 3.9.3. This is somewhat disappointing. A lot of bloat for the back-end which seems mostly un-necessary, and there’s no option to turn off these features.
