Disappointed on their forum / support

I’m not a tech-savvy person and i just started learning WP early this year. I chose WP because i thought being the most-used platform globally, wp should be able to offer more support I need to create my first site.
My experiences so far has been the exact opposite. My first two inquiries to wP forum received 0 replies. After reading my most recent issue, WP moderator advised that issue should be sent to Buddypress, which is the same company as WP as I just realized then.
So I posted that issue on BP forum and still received 0 replies as of this very moment.
This non-responsive attitude also applies to most plugin operators I’ve contacted so far.
Without a solution to my BP issue, I can’t move on and I couldn’t be more disappointed on my overall experiences with wp / bp.
