    I was about to purchase (renew) the 5 page or 25 page version of complianze for my business when I realized that I have 2 simple pre-sales questions that I need answered before wanting to spend the money.
    No problem, I’ll just ask the person in live chat. Wait. No live chat… Okay, I’ll click on support…. Oh, yeah. I forgot what a pain it was to get assistance back when I paid for the plugin. Shame, because it seemed good in most other ways.

    Oh well. I’ll fill in the form – wait, I can´t??? I need to pay first.
    Fine, I’ll follow the link for free support. Wait, I have to create an account to start a topic on a message board!?

    Well, I’m only bothering to write this because now I’m kinda peeved. Truth is that I have 2 tabs open right now looking for alternatives and I’m kinda hoping that one of them works better and has actual support.

    My questions were very simple. One of them actually wouldn’t make a difference to my purchase either way it could be answered – but now I’m aware of the sucky support again and am leaning away from spending my money here.

    The two questions are as follows:

    1. Can I upgrade partway through the year if I (hopefully and probably) outgrow the plan I’m on?
    2. Is my particular staging site format acceptable? I use a large wordpress hosting provider and the sitename.staging.*.host (maybe you can guess which one from that, I don’t know) I know this is covered on the site, but I’m not quite sure if this format would count as a staging site, so I thought I’d ask just to make sure.

    Actually, now that I consider it neither of these questions are deal-breakers. The lack of support is kinda a deal breaker. Especially since I really didn’t use the plug in last time I paid for it (little more complex than I anticipated and support being a pain).

    Well, if you can get me a response (that I see) before I find another option then I’ll probably still buy the service. Otherwise, you’re welcome for bringing to your attention a major flaw in your sales funnel and if I ever need to change services again I’ll reconsider you guys.
