Disappearing footer and wp-login.php 404 error

    Hi,

    I’m pretty new to WP, almost totally ignorant of PHP, and just moved to a new host.

    Since moving to the new server, I find problems with my footers having disappeared in two or three of my blogs. Plus, when I click the “login” link, it gives me a 404 error. Any ideas about how to start troubleshooting this?

    Hm. I’d look to see whether the folder structure is the same as when your blogs were at the old site … or whatever else might be different.

    Could you describe how you migrated the blogs? Have the relative paths remained the same? Have you redefined the paths to your home directory? (some plugins require that) Something in the migration probably has led to inconsistencies, so it’s important that you are descriptive about it.
