Does it still disappear? Might be a plugin conflict or cache plugin?
it is still, im tryin to find any plugin conflict or cache plugin but to no avail. maybe you could help point out what could happen or what had happen before so i could roam around in more specific area.

How did you do this? Using a custom css plugin or a child theme? Please try to reactivate the widget plugin.
im using the custom css inside the widget settings, but even tho i accidentally left the use default style tick buttons so it suppose to not takin any effect right? but its disappear right away.
Im tryin the dumb way by removing the plugin and install it again but it seems that didnt fix it.
I just had the exact same problem. I was trying to adjust the color within the custom CSS box and when I updated, every recent posts extended widget disappeared on my blog page, it still showed that it was inside the page builder. I deactivated and reactivated it, and I still cannot get it to show. I un installed and re installed and I cant get it to show at all, even with custom settings. I deleted the only other widget I had downloaded today and that was https://wordpress.org/plugins/popups/. It seemed to work fine with it, all until I decided to try and adjust font color within the summary. Any ideas? Thanks!
Ok, it looks like a bug with the custom css, I’ll check it. I’ll be back soon, thank you for reporting it 🙂
By the way, please provide me PHP version on your server. It could be a PHP compatibility issue.

No longer working, if the widget/plugin is opened to edit a parameter it no longer works and goes blank.
That, I presume, is exactly the same that what happens to me & secondhand mate. Good things to know there is something wrong here.
By far this plugin is the best around for recent post according to my taste so indeed it would be good if it is to be fixed

I have no idea about the issue. I’ve tried in a few sites and local environtment but I couldn’t produce the issue. Custom css is worked fine.
Please try to update to the latest version.

Im using BLDR Theme from moderntheme if this information maybe comes up into something good.
